    I've got a q6600 in a P7n SLi (Nvidia 750i chipset) with a pair of 160GB 7200.11 sata HD's.

I've got a legit copy of Vista Ultimate upgrade (32 bit) which will work from vista or xp.

The raid as appaling, non of the f'ing drivers work with vista or XP.

So I'm having to use a single disk

    Tried sata and ide modes.

And then it never bloody works.

    XP corp oem, vista.

    Nothing installs.

    Constant driver problems.

Got the drivers from MSI, they suck.

    I'm going f'ing mental.

XP installs all the files then reboots and can't find ntldr, even though it's the only fing boot device.

Vista cant even format the fing disk even when given the msi drivers cant find the disk.

I just want to get any freaking copy of windows up.

I can sort everything out from there.

But 12 hours of fing about and I'm still titting about trying to install any fing MS operating system.

ANybody got the right fing drivers for this POS?

Don't you need AHCI for RAID?

Thats what the SATAs have to be configured as on my P5K Premium.

    *EDIT*

Just found These on the nvidia site.

Think again. Is it really MS' fault that there are no proper drivers for your hardware?

But in any case, try Linux, and you will run into even more driver problems. Windows has far the best driver support of any operating systems.

try nvidia.com for the 750i drivers.. that wasn't a very good board to begin with- it's actually a step backwards from the 680i XD it can run the 45nm stuff though
