i'm thinking of water cooling one of my pc's and as my dad is a plumber he's gonna get me cheap parts as its basicly the same as house heating and can come in quite a small size. in heating systems now instead of a Reservoir they have what is called an expansion vessel which is basicly a piece of rubber tube like the bendy bit of a bendy straw which can expand and contract depending on the temperature of the water. Has anyone ever tried this in a computer before? and how much temperature change (and water expansion) happens in a water cooled computer?
    thanks.

Nearly none, water expansion is not a problem.

The res is there to help you bleed your system so i doubt an expansion vessle would help at all.
