Insuranc questions

    Right now im on my carpy cel 600 sony vaio lappy .My comp got taken away from me yesterday from the insurance guys. My question is how long do they usually have the comp for. Im in the UK so brittish eperiences would be more apreciated.

    The motherboard and cpu both got vapourized. They took the whole comp to check ither to repair or replace or whatever. Just wanted to know how long they usually take. I really hope it wont be in the weeks.
