    Good Evening,

Another question I had, Is it possible to integrate a smallish Desktop Speaker (either Jack/USB don't mind) inside the desktop case to provide sound (as HP and some others do) while still being able to plug speakers/headphones into the backplate sockets and plugging stuff in the back stops the internal speaker from working (as HP machines do)?

Also don't want to use any of the rear or front USB sockets.

    Thanks,
    Max

You've got usb headers on the mobo. the only problem, because the case is metal you might get a bit of rattling from the panels flapping, but low power speakers would work ok.

So you reckon just get something like a internal pci card to plug into the usb header and then get low power usb speakers to plug into the int pci card.

There are internal USB headers on most (all?) modern motherboards. Just pick up a USB PCI backplate and remove the backplate, using only the wires, alternately, if you have an old case lying around, rip the front connectors off of it and steal the USB port/wires
