    Face it, Todays Web Browsers SUCK

    Internet Explorer turned into Internet Exploder after Active X Viruses came out
    Opera became sloooooow like Winfrey
    Firefox turned into CrashFox24/7 after 0.8 was released
    Mozilla is slow as cheese
    MyIE is just a rip off Internet Explorer and SUCKS just like I.E.

    I happen to find IE to be a very effective tool for browsing the internet.
    Got bored with trying the alternatives when they wouldn't function as well as IE.

    Mozilla is as fast as any browser on my machine.

    Firefox has crashed once in about 6 months now. When i used to use IE that would be once in about 6 minutes.

    BTW I'm giving MSN Explorer Premium a try as I get it free with my Verizon DSL Account.
    So far, the regular MSN Explorer in Windows XP surfs 100% Faster than ANY OF THE BROWSERS MENTIONED ABOVE. ANY.

    You can't see this but I'm rolling my eyes so hard that I have temporarily cured my myopia.

    Phoenix - been using it for years, crashed maybe 3 times.

    I have tried IE, Opera and Firefox...

    IS basicly suck... lots of security issues, and every 3rd page i visit i get 1-2 error messages for some reason.... went over to firefox... didn't thing more about it...

    Firefox is ok, but it just didn't fill my needs... (needed plugins to be any functional, and i find plugins a hassle... especially when i need to set up everything on 4-5 computers)

    Went from firefox to opera... I think Opera works great... i have used it for a few months now, and it havent crashed yet.... i haven't seen one, single popup.... The windowhandling is just as i want it... the speed is just as fast as IE (total) and the overall settings is wery simple and customizeable (??)...

    Opera have all it settings in one place... nicely sorted... IE have them all over the place... (some internet settings isn't in the browser itself!)

    The only bad thing about opera is that some pages doesn't show up right, but that is the designer's fault, NOT opera...

    IE fans

    You may wanna check out www.avantbrowser.com.
    Avant uses the IE 'engine', so is as secure as IE, but has tabs and mouse gestures and loads of other things.
    Perfect for all those IE only web apps that need IE to work.

    i have used IE and Firefox
    IE 5.5 and 6.0 have NEVER locked up or froze on me,or had any problems

    i switched to firefox, firefox has only frozen once in a few months

    and i mainly switched to firefox because its more secure...

    and tbh with you anyone who says IE or Firefox are rubbish, are stupid, and just think its kool to slag everything off

    Some people need to get a brain and realize lots of "browser issues" have to do with other things on their computer, and NOT the browser itself. It just looks that way to you.

    This goes for many things.

    <rant>
    For instance, I work in the cable industry and we get lots of calls that someones internet is slow. We go there only to find that the reason its so "slow" is their browser is so overridden with spyware and adware its constantly loading pages over and over and the slow computers can't handle it. People just blame the cable because, "It never started until I got your cable internet". Well no duh!! Spyware and Adware run off an internet connection!!! And regardless this still has nothing to do with the internet speed.

    </sorry rant over>
