    I was EXACTLY The same! And whats more is, now im turning my entire website to CSS - It turns out that IE doesnt support CSS nearly as well as Firefox does!

    However i cant speak for IE7 - I hear its gonna be the bomb!

    Another vote for Firefox here.

    I've been using it for the last year or so and can honestly say in that time the amount of times it's probably only crashed a handful of times in that period.

    All in all I personally think its the best alternative.

    But in all fairness if your willing to keep upto date on patches and keep spyware software running and scanning regularly then IE6 is still an acceptable way to browse.
