    A FILING ON web site GigaOM said that an inventor is working on wireless data that could fly data across the aether at speeds of up to two gigabits per second.

    Dev Gupta, who co-founded cable broadband firm Narad Networks, has started a fresh venture called NewLANs.

    2Gb per sec? I'd settle for 54g TBH, but can't because there's no mini-pci upgrade boards for Centrino lappies yet.
