Networks ipconfig error

    my friend just reformated her computer with windows xp and after changing the network settings to work with roadrunner nothing happens. so i go into camandline and type ipconfig and all i it says is windows ip configuration and nothing else. i also get a failed to query tcp/ip connection error. anybody know why this is happening?

    no its built in so its not a nic

    still needs drivers...make sure its installed properly.

    where could i download some drivers. i dont have any cd cause i had a new motherboard installed and i didnt get the cd for the built in features that it had

    look in the system information (accessories -> system tools -> system info) and find the motherboard's name (should be in the bios name)..

    Then you just need to go to the makers website adn they should have the most up to date ones...somwhere on their website..
