I'm not sure if I can believe I'm asking this question or not, but here goes... I want to be able to retrieve my music from my iPod (Touch - 2nd Gen), and nothing I try seems to be working. Simply attaching the iPod to my PC only lets me browse images, and I know that iTunes won't let me access my own music (heaven forbid). The only other option is to use dodgy software which either doesn't work, is filled with malware, or you have to pay for. Unfortunately I don't have backups of my music, so it's kind of important that I get these off here. Does anyone here have any advice for releasing my music? Stu
Is this a program? I haven't come across this one before. I have about three albums bought from iTunes, the rest of it comes from the CDs I left at my Mums house. Ideally I wouldn't have to go get them back, there's several daysof music which I ripped over the years.
It is indeed mate. It slow but it works. All the song will be name weirdly but if you just drap and drop the whole lot into itunes it will sort the names out for you.
Sharepod http://www.getsharepod.com/ Plug it in, run Sharepod and copy the files from the iPod back to the PC.
Sharepod doesn't work for me. When I try to run it, I get a .NET framework Initialisation Error (Unable to a version of the runtime to run this application).
^ Weird, well then go to the M$ website and reinstall the latest .NET... It should already be fine if you run updates though.
