used ofc but seemingly in fine condition. it is still a lot of money for me. but i was just searching around for cards and came across this. it is either a card now or wait until the new series are out next year. is this bargain too good to miss or should i just wait until new cards
ok i shouold probs change the title. i know its good, but is it too good to miss? i want to play games at max, on my dell 27 inch. (2560x1440). will this be able to do it? also, obviously new cards are coming in within the next 4 or 5 months, is it worth waiting around for those do you think
It is a very good deal, saves at least £100 over a new one, so if its in good condition its well worth it. As for the monitor question, it will likely handle any game at that resolution, with the exception of BF3, where you would have to drop some of the quality settings. As the resolution is pretty high on your monitor, then it may be worth waiting, but remember the new cards will be priced around £400+ based on recent history, so it comes down to how much cash u want to pay.
guysssssss i dunnoooooooo im broke but as you say it is a very good deal waiting for the new series of cards will give me time to save up money though does anyone know how much performance increase new cards will offer over their old counterparts? about 20%? i purposely havent released this information
It sounds a little too good to be true. Make sure its from a reputable seller, If its not and from a forum or similar then make sure you exchange the relevant contact details before hand
the guy basically (so he claims) bought it for his son but his son then got a job and bought a gtx 590 for himself lol.. a bit harsh on his dad so from your responses, i take it this really is too good to miss? to be honest i would much prefer to wait until the new gen, because it will give me time to acquire more cash. but i do have some cash hidden away somewhere if it really is advisable that i do this.
That's an amazing bargain. Even if you waited for the next gen the 680 will probably be about 20% faster but will easily cost £400+ so value for money won't improve. Even if you decide to sell it in a years time and upgrade a 480 will still fetch £150 and I don't see why a 580 would be different.
Oooohhhh I know which one that is I'm actually watching that one But it's an auction so it doesn't mean it will stay at that price it has 3 days to go the bidding will get frantic in the last hour so I doubt you'll get it for that price
fuuuuuuuu lol yeah i was hoping if i left it alone no one would see it i dont use ebay much lol also you have cf 6870 why do you want a single 580?
