    Hi

Im looking to buy a Geforce 4 Ti 4400 and the standard nVidia boards are very much cheaper than say the creative labs GF4 Ti 4400. Is there any performance difference which justifies the price? or is it simply the nVidia-own-board doesnt come with any fancy manuals and / or software / games?

Would i be best getting a branded GF4 like Creative or Gainward, or is there no real difference to the nVidia's-own boards?

    cheers for your help.

standard graphics cards are branded, they are just not well known brands, usually from Taiwan. You will probably find they cannot be overclocked, but they should run as well as the chip should.

If I were you I would dish out the extra $$$ and buy the branded card.

    I got an inno-3d ti4400 from novatech for £190 - overclocks to a ti4600 + 20% easy :D

The inno-3ds are sold as "dabsvalue" also.

Yep I got mine as a 'novatech own card' - I may have been lucky though, I've read some reviews where they had trouble overclocking the inno-3d :(

I have a GF4 ti4600, made by MSI, i love it, but make sure you get a new revision of it, as a friend of mine has a ti4400, first version and it messes up with artifacts.
