I can't get enthused about it, and the TV scheduling will no doubt go out the door during the 3-4 week 'festival of football'

I couldn't care less if Beckham's fit or not....

But then I'm not a footie fan.;)

Still - anybody got any crazy plans for it? All night beer fulled sessions round the TV?

I hate football, so tend to have a sliding interest in the World Cup... as in, I'll not pay any attention to it until the Quarter finals if we're in em, then I might watch part of the Semi's if we're in that..

If we're in the Final then I'll more than likely watch the whole match. I might hate footy, but I don't hate my country :)

England won't win, theyre not that good a team. Now if wales could win, hehehehe.

i love the world cup, was brought up on it cause of my dad. he errr well he was on the disciplinary commitee for worldcup 94 (his last, 90 was his first). he can tell lots of stories about it, and constantly does :blah:

    Im looking forward to it...

I love to watch Liverpool play, and also to see england do well, apart from that I don't watch football, and I certainly don't play the sport.

If we get out of the group of hell, I can see us getting to the semi's :)

i'm a bit strange about football... for years i supported liverpool and then for years i supported juventus but now i don't support anyone :p

personally i don't much care for it unless its going to be an 'exciting' match... some of the countries are just more fun too watch but england is often bland... at least i'll prolly be at home for this one (revisin  )

oh and it being on in moddle of night wil be off puting
but pubs open at 7am sonds cool :D

    im not...

i think footballers get paid far to much yo kick a leather ball between 3 white posts, sure the game is good, the people who partake in it are not though..

thats all i have to say

:baby: <-- i had to put this in cause i liked it :D

i'm not a footy fan, bores me to death.

as Kna says, i may watch a match or two if we hit the semi finals or the final, but i doubt that very greatly.

They are overpaid yes, but come on, the world cup........you gotta support your country! Besides, for me its also 90 minutes where my mom wont nag me to revise all the time.

Oh god yes....I have seen every world cup since '82...(sorta reveals my age doesn't it...:). The world cup is the pinnacle of sport (cause the super bowl is every year, and usually quite lopsided..)

    Can't wait for June 2nd..:D :D :D

    World Cup

    :eyebrow:

England are class, and as long as Beckham plays then we have every chanceto go wuite far. I love football. Played professional for a couple of years, but quit cos the team was rubbish and now im looking for a team again.

As long as no-one else gets injured then we're okay!

    COME ON ENGLAND :D
