Cooling Is Arctic Freezer 13 OK With i7 2600k @ 4.5GHz ?

    Hmm, I was thinking of air cooling but the Corsair H70 or the Antec H60 seem to be popular options but a bit more pricey than air cooling. Wobbling now betwen air and water.....

    BTW... If you still have Itchy rim... Germolene is quite good. Cleared it up for me a few weeks ago.

    I got a freezer 13 with my scan pre OC bundle with a 2500k @ 4.5 and it seems perfectly fine to me.

    Temps idle in the high 30's and as far as I know have never gone about 60 although I don't benchmark and I think the only time it reaches 100% is for a few secs at the end of a shogun 2 battle.

    Does the Corsair Hydro H70 actually fit onto a 1155 socket? It states on the box it is OK for 775, 1156 and 1366 but not 1155?

    1156 = 1155 for cooler fittings afaik :)
