Anyone got bt broadband to try this on

I've tried several machines and several different routers and different bt lines all to the same effect.

Port 5611 will not open I've also had trouble with other ports too

    Such as 5610 6060 6061 5552 3388 8866

Anyone know if bt actively block ports or particular types of packets through their systems

It's basically sending commands, audio, video for cctv

You trying to connect to that port down your broadband to a specific host, or is it local to your own mini network through a BT router?

If there's a specific host that folk can try connecting to that might garner more responses! some cmd line that we can try maybe?

    its for any WAN user

so external to a single internal IP

basically if anyone has BT broadband can they open port 5611 to any WAN user ?

use ping.eu to check if its open .

Is it mapped to the correct internal IP & any firewalls on the device have that port open as well?

Can you send me your external IP via PM to test?

You wouldn't offend anybody. We all know BT 1st line support can't read.

    Sorry 5610 closed, 5611 open.

You can save the rep for another day after you've issued some to someone else
