Is it easy as from what i hear it just pulling gpu out of slot and adding the other and putting power cables to it or is it more?
1. Uninstall the old graphics driver 2. unscrew and take out the old card (make sure you press in the retaining clip underneath the card if its PCI-e) 3. Slot in the new card 4. install the new graphics driver If you are moving from ATI to Nvidia its best to use a driver cleaner to remove the old driver first.
So what im im adding one just put in slot and new drivers or do i need connect nvidia cards some how since i might add another down the road
Also make sure the power supply you're using will support the new card ... quite often new GPU can lead to new PSU.
I have a 1250 w psu i made sure it would be big so i don't need new one ill just keep it untill it breaks/ dies
if you add another card down the road you will need to connect them using the sli bridge provided with your motherboard. if you're just installing a single card right now, it's just a matter of slotting it in and plugging in the cables. it's easier than playing with lego.
