    Isn't Corsair's TX750 a single 12v rail?
I ask because I'm chopping one up, and I noticed some of the PCIE wires are solid yellow, and some are yellow with a black stripe. I thought the different wires meant different rails?

-I may be in for some flames since I'm lopping off the molex and using the extra pcie for pump and fans.

    ...and my wiring sucks.

I believe all Corsair and most PSU manufacture are single rail. They usual use some sort of hybrid design so that it doesn't catches fire.

The problem with single rail was back in the days when GPU where super power hungry, and people using Pentium D's, which needed a power plant for itself with it's mighty 215W requirements.
Today it's not the case, and single rail technology has involved to be safe and smart as it delivers power.
