Is Fallout 3 going to be a FPS or a TPS?, (Third-person-shooter, I just made that up)

Some games I want buy for my pc, and some for my PS3.

FPSs, like Bioshock, Crysis, Oblivion, etc., I like to play on my pc with a mouse and the WASD keyboard.

Some games, like GTA4, MGS4, etc. (TPSs), with that over-the-shoulder-view (OTSV),I like to play on my PS3 with the DualShock Controller (PS3wDSC).

I want to pre-order Fallout 3, but I can't figure what it is? What system should I get it for?

    Does anyone know? DAK?

It's both, well, it's the same engine as Oblivion but tweaked so I imagine it will be both, but the 3rd person cam will be incredibly unuseful (it's a word now) for precise work (picking up small objects, etc.). I'm getting it for the 360 since

    A) My PC has the flu and I can't be bothered to fix it
    B) I'm an achievement whore

However, this won't be really fast twitch gaming like CS or whatever, a controller will be more than good enough, especially since it's designed primarily for consoles like Oblivion was (I have no idea why the dumbed it down, Morrowind worked perfectly fine on the xbox).

Yes, it's the same as Oblivion. It is really supposed to be played as FPS, but you can switch.

I hope some one releases a mod for it, to reduce the size of peoples heads.

Woah, You are obsessed with abbreviations.

TPS has been used plenty for Third person shooting games btw. And I've seen OTS used for over the shoulder a fair few times.

It wouldn't suck at all. But you're right about it being in the Oblivion engine.

Nah, it's Oblivion with guns with an action mode mechanic thingy where you can pause the game and do an aimed shot/strike to a specific part.

yeh it's pretty much oblivion with a post apocalyptic theme, if you look at the conversations and interactions with npc's it's exactly the same as oblivion..which imo is feckin sweet
