Or does it look like SSD prices are dropping? https://www.amazon.co.uk/OCZ-Toshib...TF8&qid=1499253003&sr=1-11&keywords=500gb+ssd I could swear I paid £135 before the hike. That seems quite cheap to me. I've also noticed RAM prices have reduced slightly too.
According to Camelcamelcamel, it's never been more than £114.99 - which is how much it is now. It was as low as £97.66 in May 2016.
Don't get your hopes up VT, everything is still more expensive than it was 12 months ago, probably even closer to 2 years! Good news for people selling used SSD/RAM though.
I still have 8GB of memory, some rather nice Geil Black Dragon stuff with LEDs on for £24. That was in Jan 2013!! Next time this stuff goes cheap I am filling my spare bedroom with the stuff!
I bought an OCZ Arc for £135 (480gb) It was a while back I know that much (possibly even two years). Since then they have been more expensive. That is basically why I haven't bought any more. However, they seem to be dropping slightly, as does RAM. Maybe Apple can't sell all of the ram they've pigged?
FFS. Just as RAM was becoming more affordable again too ! For the last week or so you could get 2x8gb DDR4 3000 for £109, with cheaper kits down to almost £100. Now? https://www.overclockers.co.uk/team...al-channel-kit-grey-tlgd416g30-my-087-tg.html It's gone up a tenner already. I mean it's still not as bad as the £160+ min, but yeah, sucks.
