Is it me, or are SATA power connectors really hard to push on to the plugs on the storage devices, or are they really meant to that tight????
They often can be a little tough, just make sure you have it straight on, simple thing I know, which you are probs doing but worth mentioning. Generally I abide by the rule if the cable doesn't want to go on, don't force it! Rather dbl check all is gd first! but sata power cables have always been the exception...
Never noticed that they're really tight, but I guess they have to be otherwise they'd probably always fall out lol
It varies how far you can push the power connector in, but I havent had any SATA connectors that was difficult to get in place. Careful so you dont break anything, and get the notch on the right side
Heh, reread my post and see what you mean! I pride myself on having a dirty mind and yet totally missed it - am I finally growing up?
Personally I hate it when it bends the wrong way and you have to twist it upside down. If you have stubby fingers it can be very awkward to manoeuvre into the correct position. Sometimes you just have to give in and flip the mounting.
