It should work if you have a high enough wattage psu. The K6-2 doesnt take much but those bartons are power hungry. The only problem i could see would be with the power switches as in, which computer would control being on (and off). Im pretty sure you could just take out the green atx wire from the 20- Pin socket and wire it to a switch with a ground. With that, when you flip the switch (cant be momentary, has ti be toggle) the power supply will turn on and in therory both the comps too. Just dont forget if you want to shut them both down you would need to make sure each computer got to the "It is now safe to turn off you computer screen" (even XP has this screen) and then flip the switch. Other than that I dont see why it wouldnt work. Hope that helps.

yes, but why would you want to? by the time you found a second 24 pin ATX connector, you could buy a surplus PSU. you dont gain anything here...

its mainly to save space... ive got no room for 4 cases (as i have 4 comps)... let alone 2.. so to put them into 1 case and share power.. takes 2 cases and makes 1 out of it...

In most cases you can stack 2 1U supplies like http://www.istarusa.com/New Folder (2)/TC-1U25.htm into the space of the regular ATX (2U) supply. They are 2" longer than the regular supplies (8" instead of 6"), but smaller in all other dimensions. Of course, it is not the cheapest solution.
I had trouble on the 3.3V line when I put two mobos on one supply.

Done even need a shuttle psu. A trip to newegg finds you this http://www.newegg.com/OldVersion/app/viewproductdesc.asp?description=17-103-143&DEPA=0

I have one and it ran a 1.6ghz atholon with a cdrom, 2 Hds and misc lights and such. You could keep the psu for the one and just get this. If you didnt want 2 IEC connectors (the power plug) you could wire the one to the other. Very simple and cost effective solution.

EDIT: Damn your in the UK, Let me try and find a UK retailer. BRB

EDIT: Sorry mate, cant find anything with a quick google search and I got to go to dinner. I will look more when I get back.
