    Hi,

I've just put together most of my build, I'm missing the GPU that should arrive Friday. My P8P67 deluxe has some LEDs on the board that indicates if things are working okay.

So I'm wondering if it's okay to boot it up with a GPU just to see if all the fans etc work. Or is it worth just waiting a day for the GPU?

    Cheers

It's not going to do any harm.

But it won't hurt to wait a day!

It certainly won't do any harm.

And if you get a POST code (or indication on your fancy LEDs) other than one complaining about no GPU, then you'll know that much sooner.

Thanks, booted it up and it seems to hum along nicly. Get the code A2 - IDE Detect. Looking in the manual and the ASUS forum it doesn't seem to be an error code, so I think I'm golden.
