is it worth it to drill two holes in the front of my case and running ps2 extensions from the back of my comp, inside my comp, and mounting them in the holes so that i can plug my keyboard into the front of my case? thx.....
i guess it depends, personally, i wouldn't want anything permanantly plugged into the front of my case. The only reason i would see for doing that would be if you had a server, and just needed to boot with a keyboard, but didn't want to buy a new one... i always get a chuckle when i forget to plug in my keyboard after coming home from a LAN and my BIOS says: "No keyboard was detected, press [ESC] to exit or [F1] to continue." seems ironic, but maybe it's just me
Do you really swap out your keyboards that often? If you are messing around with your connections in back that much maybe you should run the power switch to the back and turn your whole pc around
i was just wondering cause i go to lans about once every 2 months and there are a lot of cables in the back of my comp that i seem to have to connect back up and its a big mess and its annoying.... also my keyboard cable is very short and its a pain in the arss to have this keyboard cable extension
my self i wouldnt put it in the frint bezel for say. id put it on the right side of the case, so it wouldnt mar the face of the case, but still be convinently located. some emachines and the like have joystick and audioports there.
i would not like having them on the front of my case but it i was annoyed with it then i would prob put them in the side or summin
