As everyone else has stated, you will not have to worry about future games not running on your pc. So when BF3 comes out, you can play the game maxed out, which is the way its meant to be played (Ha, pinched Nvidias slogoo their...lol). I personally wish I waited for the 3GB cards to come out, as I'm hitting vram limits at my res. But only in Crysis/Warhead. I was thinking of selling my 580's and get the 3GB versons, but then I thought...That would just be insane! Cheers, Simon.
Pffft, like you know the meaning of the word Your PC shop is talking crap tbh, that 580 will allow you to ramp up things like the AA etc for a few years to come.
