I want to put an LCD or VFD in my new computer. I only want it to display case/CPU temperature, and maybe time, and maybe some other things that are in the BIOS.

I just started looking at LCDs/VFDs, and I was wondering if I can put one in that does not require software. Is there one that can read information from the BIOS?

    THANKS

nope, all LCD's need software to send them information to display.

You could use a digidoc, it gets temps from its own sensors tho, not from bios, no software needed tho.
