I want to put an LCD or VFD in my new computer. I only want it to display case/CPU temperature, and maybe time, and maybe some other things that are in the BIOS. I just started looking at LCDs/VFDs, and I was wondering if I can put one in that does not require software. Is there one that can read information from the BIOS? THANKS
there was a post some time ago regarding a new digital fan control system from singapore that had built in electronics to moniter temps and control fans with varable power....i think it only used software if you also wanted to control the fans in windows.....anyone know what im talking about...have a link...
You could use a digidoc, it gets temps from its own sensors tho, not from bios, no software needed tho.
