I just ordered parts for my new system:
ALPHA PAL8045U. Heat Sink + Fan
    MAXTOR 60GB 7200RPM
    CORSAIR MEMORY CMX256A-2700C2 C2 256MB PC2700 DDR RAM 333MHz
    AOPEN AK77-333(USB 2.0) VIA KT333 CHIPSET ULTRA ATA133

I had just bought a Thermalright SK-6 about two weeks ago with the intent to use it in this system but after reading here, I decided that I would put it in my son's system and go with a bolt-mount PAL instead... gaze your eyes upon the converted... :D

Nice move Eddie! While I'm sure that Thermalright was pretty good, you can't get near the Alpha for all round effectiveness!

I dunno how to draw a four dimensional graph, but I'm sure it could show how the alpha mixes performance, cost, safety, and sheer cool more effectively than any other heatsink. Only the MCX462 comes close, but half as much money again.

    Good choice my man!
