I have an issue with my 1,5 year old gtx275. While playing games under heavy load
(e.g. Crysis2) sometimes screen freezes then I press AltGr Ctrl Del to open task manager and see the game status as running, sometimes I can continue flawlessly by right click on game title in task manager and switch to application.

But seldom, lots of white pixels appear all over the screen and colors became weird with display similar to strong ghosting effect

    - card is not overclocked
    - I have a good cooling chasis
    - I have a good quality 850W PSU
    - also the vga successfuly completes 3d mark vantage with the score of approximately 11600

I need some advice because it is my first issue with a graphic card, if I sent the card to
warranty maybe they overlook the fault because it only happens under heavy load and not
    too frequent actually.

    Thank you.

I loaded the card with furmark stability test for a long time there was no sign of failure no white pixels then run 3d mark vantage benchmark which was also a success. I decided to roll the nvidia driver back as the more i though about the issue the more i remembered the past and i think the first failure happened after i upgraded nvidia driver. I installed an old driver 197.53 or something
and i don't have any problem for 2 days. :thumb:

Likely one of the performance improvements, then. Had a similar issue with my old 8600GT, that thing used to lock up. I suspect it's a VRAM issue with the cards, however, it errors after a period of time and Pulling up Task-Manager flushes out the cache, giving it a chance to breathe and calm down, looks like the same event in your scenario.
