trying to buy BF BC 2 on steam and it's not letting me add anything to my cart anyone else having issues with this? going to restart steam and try again edit; apparently i can't access my steam community page or anything either
I had a issue last night with steam keeped saying I was offline when tried to log in half hour later was fine . Just checked steam and all is fine now.
when I have issues using any website's cart I tend to leave and try again at least a day later. I wouldn't want to make any transaction using an unstable and possibly untrustworthy system Steam works great and all but I would still wait until at least later tonight if I were you (althought it is 7pm in the UK already... hmmm)
Are you sure the information you were reading wasn't 7 years ago? Did you post this message 7 years ago and it's only just showing up? ....Or have they simply been saying the same thing for the last 7 years?
MUST PUSH LITTLE CART! I think it's as secure as anything else, there are a few issues like locking a card to your account, and everything is intrinsically linked to the steam community, which has a tendency to die. I don't think you can do anything by accident that can't be resolved by a steam support ticket TBH. Support is slow, but they sort you out eventually.
I didn't think it was that cryptic but since it confused.. From first implementation (Wiki says 7 years, although seems longer) Steam and Steam Friends has always followed standard procedure: 1) Break something people were fairly happy with. 2) Cause mass rage posting session on forum. 3) Release statement saying 'fixing it now' To give them credit they tend to always do just that, I can't remember them making any real permanent screw ups. But then I'm going old and senile and shouldn't really be listened to.
Hey, at least it makes using Steam interesting. Software that works how it's supposed to all the time is boring, they're just trying to keep us on our toes
oh ok that make sense now I've had steam since it came out in 2003 but started using it a lot only about a year ago so I can't really comment on how they tend to 'break' things
