Hi all, I checked the forum rules and couldnt find anything against this but if it is i apologies. Basically im leaving work for a new job i just got huzzah!, however there is now a gap in the company i work for. im looking for my replacement in a nutshell and thought id post here to give people that have IT background a chance of work in these trying times. I will not however provide any details about salary, contracts, the company etc as that would be better discussed privately if any individuals are interested. The position would be as IT Technician in a specialist surveillance company. The role requires you to have a good understanding about PC build, repair and maintenance as well as a decent level of knowledge regarding home sized networks (ability to setup & diagnose problems). No formal qualifications are necessary though. the role would also require eventually to learn all about surveillance setups, Access control products (network based) as well as audio visual type solutions like home cinemas and multi-room audio setups. Im looking for someone willing to learn new things and keep up to date with new technology/products emerging. The role will require you to be adaptive and good problem solving skills is a must. The position is semi-customer facing providing training on surveillance systems (PC based) as well as technical support to all clients. the position is based in Harrogate and requires you have a full driving license If your interested let me know EDIT - the position may possibly be part time and is NOT available now (possibly in a month or 2) needed to say this as the boss is rethinking whats best and i dont wanna get peoples hopes up. If this was a year from now I would be applying as Harrogate isn't far from where I live and I tick all the boxes. But I've got one more year of being a student. Very good of you to post this on here to let people know!
