well, ive started!!!! the pics aint that good, cuz i was using my crappy webcam, beings i cant find me dad's digi cam, buying a new one soon neway!!! before: after: will be doing the whole case soon, documented, and with lots, and lots of higher quality pics watch this space!
Even with the slightly shoddy pics, the mirroed finish does look imense. A whole case looking like that would satisfy my student-esque modding needs. I can't wait to see what it looks like finished. good luck
is there anything i could put on it to stop it scratching? cuz for some reason (rubbing it on my desk) the one bay cover is already scratched. or is it just me being clumsy? no its just me. i kno there is a laquer you can spray on it to protect it tho! think im gonna give this sob a go, and see if i come out on top!!!
i get my new digi cam tomorrow, so ill take pics of that one cover in my case. i talked to my m8 today, and ive figured out whaqt he does, but im still gonnaget him to do it all for me!! beings he has doneit professionally before as well! IT WILL RULE ALL!!!!
having slight trouble on the digicam front the store i used is shibby, and wont accept my ccard, when everyo other store in the uk does, go figure! ive got to check my account balance too, make sure they havent actually taken for the cam, and said it didnt work, which would be overly stupid!! ill get back to you asap!! oh, how do you use the polishing attatchment on my dremel? thanx
im actually really interested in the techniques used to accomplish the "mirror" effect. obviously your buffing the hell out of it but are you using any chemicals that have to set... or leaving any chemicals on afterward? please let me know.
you sand the case down first with 400 grit sand paper /wet dry, then 680, then get a harsh polising rag with a blue soap, them a medium with blu soap, then a fine with blu soap, and just keep buffing till your arms fall off thats how my m8 explained it to me neway!!
I think it will look perty... I was considering doing something like that to my Lian Li PC 60, but decided that I cant afford to F it up, bc I am poor.... ya.... so ya.....

Kool!! If I get a new case, it WILL be a Coolermaster 210!! Not sure about polishing it though, it does kinda ruin the effect (but it does look cool, I have to admit!!)
