It would, but something tells me Pence is a ghastly puppet only there for Trump to point at someone religious for all the religious nuts in the US.

    ftfy.

The moment he concedes, the donations to the 'fighting fund' stop.

...and then how will he keep himself in the lifestyle to which he is accustomed. Esp with [allegedly/reportedly] nearly a billion usd worth of debt hanging over him/his business.

He can keep the pretence of fighting the result going all he wants...

Pretty much the only ones left on his side are that one ghoul of a lawyer and Dumbdumb Jr.

Ooh, that one might sting a little.

Trump be like "Kushner, yeah I heard of him - never really met the guy though"

The way it's looking to me, I'd say Trump is seriously attempting a coup d'etat. He's not going to be happy until there is widespread civil unrest and his version of the election result is forced upon the US. For that alone he should face criminal proceedings. If he gets away with all he's done and continues with it all then his rhetoric is going to continue festering in the minds of his supporters. I'd say he is an extremely dangerous person at the moment, even if I do grudge having to say that. I wish his supporters would stop and just evaluate what he's claiming, so he could fade into insignificance. Never wished ill on anyone with any seriousness, but Trump is an exception for me.

He has no avenue left to torpedo the election result.

The most he can do is try on 6th January to delay the Senate certifying the result, but the hypothetical maximum he could achieve there is a 100 hour filibuster, then he would lose again.

And considering that Senate Majority Leader Moscow Mitch has abandoned Trumpelstiltskin even attempting that would be pointless.

Biden will become President on schedule and hopefully America can begin to heal after that.

Only if SDNY arrests trump tbh. Unless Trump [et al.] suffers meaningful consequences for the **** he's pulled, there's nothing to stop them trying this **** again, or indeed at every election.

...and you can't rely on the next Trump-like figure being too much of a blithering moron to pull it off.

He's only continuing his insanity to rake in more and more cash from his misguided supporters/fantatics.

The only problem with arresting his is it feeds the deep state paranoia of his followers... After all, inprisoning Hitler just made him more powerful...

Well, if he persists with the stupidity to the end, Pense can't pardon him and the Feds can nick him as soon as the secret service boot him out the White House.

While I'd laugh my arse off if Trump was dragged out of the WH by the secret service I highly doubt Trump would let it happen.

I reckon he'll just f*** off to one of his golf courses a day or two before Biden assumes office, followed by calling Fox News to announce he won't return because "insert dumb conspiracy reason".

The Secret Service is also the branch of US law enforcement that investigates illicit financing. It won't happen, but I dream of Trump climbing into the Presidential Limousine, taking one last look at the White House, the car pulls out and through the gates, then the doors lock as the agents in the car with him inform him he is under arrest and start reading his rights.

then he will announce he is going to 'take the country back from the radial libs', by announcing he is running in 2024, and ask his followers to continue to donate to his re-election campaign
