Thats right coldplay is number 2 on the chart show which means are the british public potatos? ****in idiots (actually pissed off) Ice
I know its a double post but the marketing man behind the frog said on radio1 that sweety the chick will have a single out this summer and also nessie the dragon..i give up on music. Ice
This just proves only chavs and kids buy singles- people with a decent taste in music just buy albums. <A88>
Don't see anything wrong with this to be honest. It's an annoying song, but musically it's no worse than 99% of the stuff in the charts. I dunno why people get so worked up about this **** anymore, once Bob The Builder, Mr Blobby, The Frog Chorus, The Cheeky Girls, Pop Idol winners, Pop Star rejects, and former advert music have been at the top... this is nothing new.
I go along with A88 tbh, the singles chart isn't a reflection of the music buying public anymore.. only those who buy singles and (unsuprisingly) chart music. Take a look at the UK album charts, that's far more encouraging: Gorillaz, Faithless, SOAD, Audioslave - all in the top 10. I haven't bought a single in, what.. probably 10 years? (In fact it was Here We Go Again by Stakka Bo ) Back then, and even then some, getting to #1 was a feat.. now you just need a few thousand copies.
the single charts mean nothing anyhow, no one actually buys singles anymore anyhow, and it only takes sales of a couple of thousand to get to number one.... i cant actually remember when i bought an album or single that was in the top50 let alone the top ten... im just waiting for tony to ban it as part of his crusade against hoodies/yobs
am i missing something because everyone i know HATES this thing. so whos buying all the singles and funding their ad every 10 seconds on tv? on a brighter note, what about that akorn chump, is this really any worse?
Am I the only person happy that coldplay have been kicked in the face, mainly because of Chris Martin & whatever her name's "holier than thou" attitudes?
Chris Martin and Coldplay are just so boring that they're actually offensive. As for the singles charts, when was the last time there was actually a decent song in the top ten...... ? Even album charts are a load of **** these days. Sam
Coldplay sound so depressing that I think a portion of the royalties should go to the Samaritans because of the extra work Coldplay cause them. (Same goes for Radiohead BTW)
