my bro got 8 a* 2a 1b for gcses and a level he got 5A 1B. Standard state school. worst in the county apparently, im confused about how he does it
Roll on A-Levels!! <mini-rant> And syllabus's vary a lot between schools. I took harder syllabus cos of my damn grammar school, but it still just says English - A, where as at a non-grammar school, where they take "easier" syllabus's they also just get English - A, but learnt and were tested/graded on totally different things. </mini-rant> -cLoWn
Well I just got my AS results ... but I thought I might as well most my GCSEs from last year... *kills Paul at my school* ******** 13 A* bitch* ... anyway XD Code: Maths : A* English Language : A* English Literature : A Physics : A* Chemistry : A* Biology : A* Technology (Electronics) : A* French : A Religious Education : B Geography : A Art : A Information Technology : A Business Studies : A and for AS i got an A for Physics, a C for D&T Electronics (Was off sick and missed most of my coursework damn illness... anyway hehe) and a B and a D for my first two maths units (Doing Pure Maths & Mechanics) oh and I go to emmanuel college hence the good results... they get anyone good XD ... hell they did it with me heh
Dont rub it in some people did not get such good results! i got: Maths-C English Language-B English literature-B Art-B ICT-B History-B French-B Double science-B,B Religious Education-A German-A*
i've just done my AS and got an A in physics (we have brilliant teachers) B in maths (yippeeee i was shocked by this btw, im doing pure and mechanics) B in art (3 marks off an A goddamit) and a C in computing (i'll try and avoid the rant about the crap teacher who never even tried to make a lesson plan, i think the fact that in the first test in january where i got a C and every1 else failed speaks for itself)
Lets see: got A+A for science (double award jobby) A for maths (3 points from A* ) A for french B for english lit and language B for history C for "Systems and Control" (electronics with a ****load of gears and mechanics design thrown in too) D for ICT (no coursework submitted ) D for RE lol: total fluke; got a G for mock exam...)
I feel dumb ICT (Higher Tier) - B History - C Mathematics (Intermediate Tier) - C Science (Double Award; 2 GCSE's) - C C English (Higher Tier) - C Speaking & Listening English - B English Literature (Higher Tier) - C Media Studies (Higher Tier) - B R.E - D
well your not dumb if im not mistaken there all passes and most of them above a pass employers are not only looking for all A*s but varied results which shows your strong points how boreing is it if everybody just got straight A*s it does not make that grade that valuablr anymore too if everybody gets it if you ask me you got good results.
why did most people who took re on here get a D. It must be a fault with the exam board. Yes it must.........(more incoherant rambling)
i dont think its a fault with the Exam board most of my class got As then again i do go to a Catholic School and REligous education is big
well i can post my GCSE results if i can remember them Dual Science: A* A* Maths: A Art: A geography: B ICT: B english lang: B English lit: C German: C DT, Graphics: D (never handed in my coursework) edit/ oh yeh RE(short course): D
t'was a fault for only the people who got d's, honest *edit* theo has another d to add to the list, there is somin dodgy going on here considering i was predicted an A
oh RE, i remember those days.... the teacher told us once that he went into teaching because he felt god calling him into it, . he really couldnt control us, he was too feeble and quiet, we locked him in the store room for half a lesson once and no1 got in trouble for it
