I'm going to post this here as it's giving me a massive head ache. I work in IT support at my local uni and I've got a call for a laptop that keeps blue screening when running Jaws screen reader (both version 10 and 11) on Officer 2007. It only crashes on office 2007. The blue screen points to a .dll which is to do with graphics drivers. I've tried messing about with the graphics drivers and the registry as outlined in this article but to no avail. I've run a check disk, but also hasn't worked. I've just uninstalled it again, going to go through and delete all the files and change the registry as stated in the above document then try another check disk but, to be honest, I am at my wit's end. There isn't much online about it apart from the above link I found so that's not helped so much. The laptop is a Toshiba one, a 'Satellite Pro', running XP (our own image). Next time it blue screens I'll grab the message and post it up. Cheers if anyone knows the answer, if not then, well, you're at the same level as me.
Well, I've still not resolved the issue. The blue screen comes up with Code: STOP:0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0xBF69A6D9, 0xA7AAA064, 0x00000000) dcmc0d0.dll - Address BF69A6D9 base at BF657000, Datestamp 47fad263 That's what I get and the internet turns up nothing. I think it may be our crap image so, that's it, I'm done.
