When in the USA recently i picked up a Logitech MX Duo cordless desktop nice and cheap, the one with the MX700 mouse. Obviously the mouse charger has a powersupply ment for 110V AC US mains. The output is 5.8V DC @ 1A and i need to find a way to power the mouse charger here in good old blighty.

What is the best way to get round this. Should i get one of those transformer doobries to convert 240V into 110V especially for running US equipment like this. Or will one of these work ok on 6V or 4.5V?

    TIA

I take it that it says that the output is 5.8v and you didn't measure it at that, (unless you tested it while you were in the US) because if the reated voltage is 5.8v than 6v should be perfectly fine. Just mind the knob if you value the charger. ;)
