Just got another aol disk

i hate aol i just wanted to get one thing out


seems every were i go theres free aol cds

i just got one in the mail
what ive been doing is using the holders for other cds and trashing the cd

i just have 2 questions that would make you think

1.) how mutch money does aol waste on disk to promote there pruduct?


2.) what do you use the disk for?

 

1) tbh I doubt it costs them that much - they own half the worlds entertainment these days it seems.

2) We only recieve updates and we use those to upgrade to the newer versions of AOL.

 

Yeh, I got one of them a while back, In a dvd case. So I'll probably take the cover off and use it for somthing else.

Aol disks allways make good frisby's though.

 

I have an old microwave i keep for just that purpose

 

the room with my PC has CD's all over the cieling... was sick of AOL and other junk CD's so saved them all...got the hot glue gun out...sanded a bit of the cieling to get a key and glued them all to the ceiling... shine side showin not the AOL side

lookz amazin when the lights r on cuz whole room gets refelcts of light off the CD;s

I've got a mate who is trying to save up enough CDs to make a table!(he gets a lot of CDs from companies like Microsoft, which are supposed to be disposed of after a while). Only other thing I have seen has been a mobile for a nursery.

They make good weapons.. ever throw an AOL cd at a wall? Shatters into loadsa pieces and lil shiny foil bits go everywhere.. lots of fun
