Xbox 360 Just ordered my Elite

+ Blue Dragon from GameStation - anyone else getting one? I'm probably just going to take Blue Dragon straight to CeX, Edge weren't very impressed in the September issue, so I'll probably just trade it for GoW or something, but got plenty of good games coming on LoveFilm, so yeah. Anyone else?

The cheapest ones are shipped from Hong Kong... so you may have to wait a bit for it... but there are brand new 120GB 360 HDD's going for £63 (£49.99 + £12.99 delivery)

And that's from a 'Power-seller', with 99.1% positive - from 15,835 (and counting) feedback, so there's very little (if anything) to worry about regarding their reliability

 

The only thing is that the transfer discs are region locked. SO I don't know how I'll get the data from one dive to the next.

 

Presumably I'll get a transfer disc with mine, which I'll happily lend you Doug, as I don't have an old 360 to transfer from. Let me know by PM if you want it.

i think you should try to source a broken xbox 360 hdd for very cheap and then just put in a properly sized hdd.

 

they need a new bios to be flashed and it works with specific drives.

 

The hard drives are locked like the original xbox hard drive was.

MS dont want you to be able to change the drive for a cheaper one, with ease saving yourslef money. They want you to pay 3-4 times more than the retail value because its an MS product.

received mine yesterday & it seems to log me into live quicker

it seems like I have a hitachi drive but some people complaining of the benq drive making grinding noises upon disc loading

You can mod your old hard drive with a cheaper laptop drive off the shelf (certain models only) and it works apparently, llama have more info on it I think.
