To go along with the Asus A7N8X Deluxe mobo + Athlon 2600+ XP, I just ordered the Antec 480W TrueBlue PSU (truepower with a blue led in the fan, woot..) and 512 megs of cosair memory. http://www.directron.com/true4.html http://www.hansworkshop.com/assembly3.html#trueblue480 CORSAIR MEMORY XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series 512MB 64MX64 PC-3200C2PT With Platinum - Silver Heat Spreader OEM Specifications: Speed 400 MHz Organization 64M x 64 CAS Latency 2-3-3-6-T1 Memory type DDR Part number: CMX512-3200C2PT Yay! Now I just need to buy a better video card, my Radon 7200 VIVO is pale in comparison to the rest of my system. I'll pick up another 512 megs of ram soon as well. Once I get all these goodies, it's case mod time! I've got a huge supermicro tower (760-A), and it's quite bland right now! Let me know if you have any ideas... http://www.supermicro.com/PRODUCT/Chassis/sc760A.htm http://www.supermicro.com/PRODUCT/Chassis/SC760.htm Huge case, so plenty of room to have fun. Cheers!
Nice, sound very similar to the stuff I would be ordering of someone bought my case (hint hint). The case has tons of mod potential (also a little like my new one), I'd think about a paint job or perhaps watercooling?
Watercooling is on the backburner, I have no need for it as it stands, I'll be happy just to have it running. Case mods, definately. There are no cutouts, etc - so you can't see inside. I'm thinking about drawing a badass dragon and having it watercut into the case side, then backing it with plexi. It's soo huge there is a ton of modding potential.
