i am having some issues with trying to keep all the wires in good places, one problem might be that the wires are not long enough but i just cant get it all nice looking, are there any helpful tips?

lol :p. Try hiding the cables round the rim of the case, held by cable ties, and put any excess ones in a 5 1/2" bay if you have one spare. Long cables however do help, and it's simply a matter of unplugging everything then doing the logical route.

<Finally composes himself after laughing for a good few minutes...>

Well, as far as keeping things tidy, a couple things might help:

    1. Cable sleeving. Whether this is done in shiny metallics or just plain old black, cable sleeving can help tidy thigns up by making all the cables one, unifying color. And remember, darker colors will appear more hidden, as darker colors tend to visually recede into the background better than bright colors.

    2. Extending. Adding to the length of cables can make it easier to re-route them...which brings me to number 3...

    3. Re-routing. Running the cables behind the motherboard tray, along and inside corners, or underneath a false floor are all good ways of clearing things out a little.

That should get you started on the path to cable management euphoria. Look around at some of the projects in here for more great ideas.

in some cases shorting down the cables can help aswell... cut them to exact length and put sleeves on them... i did that, and it looks MUCH better... (and i have a acrylic case, så no places to hide things...

Self-adhesive cable clips are the daddy. Hose/cable seperators come from the car industry but they work well too.

Then, as mentioned above, there's braiding, sleeving, spirals, cable ties. Flat IDE cables can be folded like origami --but plan and practice with strips of paper first; once you put in a fold, you'll never get rid of it again.

lol@ lorquis. tehe, its really funny how people choose to title :D all I can say as per keeping a case tidy, not tity, is to use rounded cables or ties. Use some shrink tube or electrical loom. Thats all I can really suggest.

well damn, no bewbs. whats the point of even reading this thread then...

Get yourself a cable sleeving kit. I have used the Vantec kit and personally reccomend it. Since you will have sleeving over the cables you could use that to hide the seam where you can splice in extra lengths of cable if need be.
