Got some new hardware yesterday, and I installed WinXp with SP2. Now, the keyboard keeps repeating itself. Sometimes when I press a button, the computer seem to think that im holding it down, and sometimes, the keyboards doesnt respond at all for a sec or two. Anyone know of a way to solve this?

check sticky keys and the repeat speed.
Also try uninstalling it in device manager and then restarting and installing the latest drivers.

there might just be an unresolvable conflict with the new hardware... If thats the case, a new keyboard is the best (and cheapest) option.

have you got any random old keyboards, you could just plug that in, if its got the same problems, its most likely software related, if its fine, then its a hardware conflict.

Got two UltraX keyboards lying under my bed. (rev 1 and 2)
I'll test them, and see if theres any difference. (dont think theres any conflicts with the new hardware tho. Just got a hdd and traded my a8n-sli deluxe for a premium one)

Nope. I think its SP2 and USB..

edit: Tried using a USB>PS2 adapter. Seems to be working now :)
