Alas I love my job, it's just some of the things I have to deal with, decided to post and actually see who agrees that the morality of the UK seems to have taken a nice nosedive into "Fail central" right?

Actually, the threads been about that and the dis-respect and the fact that kids can be nigh feral now-a-days... i.e. chasing a kid through a park and stabbing him for being from across a river?

What happened to having some pride in yourself? What happened to being proud of things YOU do? seriously.

Me personally? No, I never engaged in senseless vandalism; my parents raised me better. However, I know a few who did. One of my best friends in elementary school was a self-described "Hell-raiser." Funny enough his dad was retired from the National Security Agency and his mom taught child psychology at the local university. I guess we sort of balanced each other out in the grand universe that kids consider their immediate neighborhood.

My point is that there have always been a group of kids who engage in less-than-civil behavior. There always will be. Perhaps you are more exposed to it because of your job. You see it on a day-to-day basis because you are exposed to a select part of society, so naturally you start to think everywhere is like that. Perhaps DragunovHUN is right, and a change of career is in order.

Given your obsession with Space Marines and all things destructive, perhaps a career in construction - or, more specifically, demolition - might be more suitable for you. I'm not trolling, by the way; I'm honestly suggesting that you might enjoy that line of work.

Change of career, Nah it's fine where I am. Good at my job and it's actually nothing to do with my job if I'm honest... it's more to do with the fact that I see things in my job like this. Thats all that sparked it. Also, me in construction? Nah i'm better with numbers... The Space Marines and Destruction thing is kept solely within hobby range (I.e. Airsoft, Skydiving, Weight training) oh and it's not an obsession... they're just ace, Obsession is where you're a maniac and go on killing spree's... I'm just capable of making people laugh (somehow).

I'm studying accounting if thats any help? lol.

Either way, there are still kids in the UK who are carrying knives at the age of 8 to school to defend their "respect" in the playground. It's crazy!

Remember, it's not just BRAWL that has the chip-in-shoulder. Reversing it and making it 'his problem' just seems to be leading towards off-topic waffle.

I don't have a chip on my shoulder... I have a 7.62 mm assualt cannon, just like any good Space... nevermind.

Granted it does. The reasoning behind this in the UK has a serious discipline issue with people younger than 25. I have no issue with people going smashed out of their face at the weekend (hell I do it, I love drinking with friends) My issue is with...

    The workshy
    The false infirm
The Cowards who have "unhealthy disease"
    The gobshites
The kids who spit on floors
The kids who let off fireworks in post boxes

"Hellraiser" to quote someone earlier. There isn't just ONE kid in a thousand, there are 600 in every thousand who don't appear to be able to read, write, understand their actions and know right from wrong in this damn country anymore. When you speak to a civil servant as "You F'ing d***head" you know you think society owes you something.

This sir, is approved by the council of BRAWL, when are you free for you "asshat promotion ceremony?" ;)

This is one of the biggest loads of crap i have ever read on the internet.

The OP is some self righteous asshole on a mission to belittle everyone he deams to be a loser? If you work so hard, and look after yourself so well, how have you commited to posting in this thread all day? Are you posting at work? In which case, wasting your employers time and money to write slander about a whole generation of folk? or have you taken holiday to waste sitting at home to post on a forum all day? Or have you called in sick? either way, all these actions are questionable and definately dont make you one of lifes winners. Be happy with who you are, and you have no right to judge others by their choices, as you have no idea how far their aspirations and dreams reach. Some people, are actually happy to exhist and let life pass them by, but thats their choice to make.

Yeah there are losers, but there are also loads of winners. And i dont think you qualify to make that deduction.

Im 24, i got my own house, my own everything, all bought off my own back. I earn a fair whack of money every month, and have done ever since i was 19, because as well as studying for a degree i was commited to maintaining a good CV, and every year i make more money. However, sometimes, i cant be bothered with all that, or sometimes im smashed off my face - so sometimes, assuming your logic, you may see me out and about - and assume im one of these loser types? or that i have no idea?

I have academic qualifications, professional qualifications, pay my bills, buy nice stuff, educate myself in order to better myself professionally, do my own ironing (and i even own my own washing machine, iron, ironing board and washing line!), and lead a great social life - but sometimes yeah i appear scruffy, sometimes i dont get dressed out of a tracksuit all day - but at the end of the day, thats my choice - and its definately not your place to judge me based on that.

Seriously though, you shouldnt give it too much thought, worry about yourself and make sure you are as good as you can be. and then work on helping out your friends - all this hating people you dont even know i can imagine is exhausting. and you have no insight on their lives.

And if you want, we can compare, play who's the biggest loser. You obviously think at your ripe old age you have accomplished alot and are successfull, otherwise you would have left you massive ego and "i work in an office" nonsense at the door.

thus the comment I make of "Disgusting" everytime I see it, right next to them... Only had one turn round and go "you what mate?" until I turn back round and state

"Who the hell do you think you are, gobbing on the floor spreading your flithy disgusting germs" and getting in his face. I've tried the diplomatic ways before, direct confrontation is all that they bloody know, so they get it >.<

I didnt say he did. I said it hisnt his place to decide - we have power to make decisions and assumptions that directly affect us - anything more and you are putting yourself on a higher level to any next man, who you dont even know? Is just a crooked logic to me.

There you ga, you've just written your own excuse, i thought journalists were SUPPOSED to look like shabby chain smokers :D Not to mention students.
Or am I mixing that up with gumschoe private-eyes? Hmmm.
You can avoid it by buying "ironless" or "wrinklefree" shirts ("Olymp" are expensive but pretty good) and putting your clothes on hangers to dry...
That's what I did till I got married* :hehe: as the decreaser bit me and hissed at me. Must be part snake.

*now the missus doesn't flatten my shirts, but uses my coat-hanger tactics, that's love! :D

You've got a personal message sir. When you're down off that high-horse... go read the thread from start to finish yeah.

    Good boy. [/troll]

haha you cheating bunch of gits... iron your damn shirts properly :p +slaps+

This thread has been derailed thanks to the ranting of the insane... it was originally about kids and young-adults disrespecting everything and anyone around them. Alas not much of that now!

This comment got me thinking. I wonder if this kind of attitude serves to verify their world view. In other words, eschewing civility for direct confrontation and "getting in his face" because it "is all that they bloody know" only continues the cycle of disobedience because now it is all they will ever know. The next time they see you, or someone like you (they can generalize and categorize just as well as you, if not better), they will probably just assume that you are representative of all grown-ups.

Alas I thought about it aswell... I mean I try diplomacy first, sorry.

If diplomacy fails then I'll quite happily argue them until their nother but mush on the ground... where they should be picking up that saliva they just gobbed out eh?

Sorry, thats my bad writing ways-andting!
