So yeah, I'm upto where you have to visit the funeral of someone you killed, and 'Robert' is attending. You watch it all, then at the click of a finger you've got about 5-6 Templars on you, along with 5-6 normal guards, and some other extra special ones, not to mention the deploy 'Robert' that's actually a women with better sword skills than Uma Thurman in Kill Bill. Anyway to the point! I'm finding this almost impossible to do, I've climbed to roof tops and thrown them all down, I've counter attacked everyone until only the women is left, then more Templars come. Once you get her on her own, how do you finish it? Everytime I goto use my hidden blade she counters it by kicking me or throwing me to the floor, so I try to throwing knife her, then whilst her defence is down go for the hidden blade, and STILL she blocks it. So what do I do? Is it a case of a full on sword duel with her, or do you just have to get the hidden blade perfectly timed? Any help appreciated as always, as this is probably the most attempts at anything I've had to do in a game, ever... Sam. Edit: Name changed.
Get 'him' to the floor (the best way is to push him into a wall) then use your invisible blade. I'm on this mission myself and have yet to make a start on it. Reading up a little and it sounds bloody solid.
I seem to remember that I just hidden bladed her when she fell down... It took a few attempts though. One problem with AC is that you can't take down most of the targets stealthily, that would've been the best way imho.
Yep, when 'he' is on the ground, you have to just hidden blade 'him', it took me ages to figure that out. Same goes for when you actually fight him. It's Robert BTW.
I killed all the bosses with the invisible blade. It's the best. Then I didn't bother to kill the helper they have, I just run away on the buildings. Escaping is the best thing you can do when you are an Assassin. That's my point of view and how I did it.
my favourite method is get them all to chase you climb onto a really tall building then fall off. You survive , just, then it starts raining guards, who promptly die.
You might want to put in some spoiler warnings for those who haven't played that far into the game yet. They aren't huge revelations, but it could still ruin things a bit for some people..
I don't think anyone who's bothered about keeping the story sacred will look at such an obviously spoiler-possible thread tbh.
Go for a nice run, climb a tall building, and as they come up one by one use thee throwing knives to kill all the guards. As for 'Robert' just counter her in a swordfight - I didnt fidn this hard at all? You dont have to kill her with the hidden blade....that's automatic after you kill her with anything else...
What I did is run to my followers, those fellows that pull on the guards to stop them chasing you. I stayed in their circle and killed the guards easily 1 by 1 while they were being tugged as they cant do anything. Finished it within in minutes. Very easy Only time i found the follwers very helpful. They even held robert so I could hidden blade him/her.
I didn't think of doing it that way but those archers make it so difficult, it took me 4-5 goes before i got it those templers are tricky coz the majority of the time the counters dont kill them they just punch then daftly.
not up to this bit yet, but how difficult is this bit compared to taking on 10 guards at once, which i did the other day?
