It looks, well, pretty decent actually! I'll be interested in some reviews if and when it makes it to UK shores, but it hardly looks like a cheap outfit!
That's exactly what I thought, WiFi, 4GB of internal storage, dual-core 1.2GHz, USB 3.0, I've checked the Engadget site a few times expecting to read that the price was incorrect or a typo but it seems correct, on sale in Oz in late January with news about if it'll make it to the US and Europe dependent upon the market. I was thinking cheap monitor but response time might not be fast enough and there is VGA and HDMI but no DVI input but still a very cheap 4K TV if there are any 4K programs to watch
I honestly don't know, thinking about it now there was a load of hype about HD ready TV's which couldn't display 1080 only 720 not sure if/how that scenario would apply to 4K?
HDMI 1.4 can carry UHD but only at 30hz. HDMI 2.0 can do much more. If you google Kogan 4k there are reviews, suggests not good for gaming due to 30hz or even scrolling but this could be an old model.
