Steam L4D 2 Four-packs: Save some money, save the world

    The way I see it, lots of people on this forum are going to be buying left4dead 2. For those of you who haven't noticed, the Steam store is offering 10% discount on all preorders. Buying a four-pack at the preorder price works out to £20.25 per copy. Now, I've already got my preorder through arranging a group buy with mates, but I thought it might be a good idea to have a thread here to arrange group buys with fellow BTers. If mods feel this is more appropriate in the marketplace, feel free to move!

    So yes. Anybody who wants to group buy l4d2 and has £20.25 ready to move in a paypal account, throw your hands up. and those willing to take money off others, have £81 in readies and deal with the resulting invites, throw your hands up too! (on the plus side, you get 1p profit!). You can all get that warm fuzzy community feeling, and a bonus baseball bat when the game is released. And, er, early access to the demo. Oh, and, more beer money (because you ARE over 18, right? :eyebrow:)

    I'm willing to purchase a game off of somebody since we don't see these prices! The ones we see cost 30-40% more on steam and in the shop prices are 50eur(499sek).

    Paypal not a problem for me, pm me here, or reply in thread - I love this idea!!!!

    Good idea. I think this thread can stay here, it's not strictly a sales thing imo.

    I most probably will be, but I really want to play the demo first. If I'm not that impressed I'll probably just wait until it comes on a half price weekend deal.

    Does anyone know how long the pre-order offers will last for? I presume they'll expire before the demos are released? :sigh:

    i did a deal with a guy i met on left4dead back when it first came out, he's a top bloke and we had the same idea at the same time. who says games are antisocial?!

    p.s. don't forget that paypal takes a little cut of the transfer...

    OK I'm sold, has anyone still got a copy left they want to sell me? Alternatively I'd be happy to buy a 4 pack if I can get 3 other people confirm for definite that they'll want them and are happy to arrange payment by Paypal etc. Just to confirm the price will be £20.25 per copy, and you get early access to the demo on Tuesday.
