What are your best times on the various L4D survival mode maps? Here's my one for startes, 8+ minutes on Dead Air, with all four survivors staking out the roof of the rescue plane. A high reward but high risk scenario as smokers will get you in the end. There's at least two ways up onto the top of the plane, both using baggage trucks. One can be used as a stepping stone onto the nose, and another can be tipped on end to gain access to the right wing. The 8 minute time could be topped by a decent team, just need some top smoker snipers!
Managed 7mins 26, forgot the map but it is in a big wharehouse / factory, bloody hard qoing but i managed a silver and bronze medal in my first night on the survival mode so i am happy with that

i did 10+ mins in the terminal at a lan with mates last night. was great fun, defo shooting for all the survival achievements
Gold on No Mercy - The Hospital, 9:30 i think. Gonna record some gameplay with xfire when we are pushing for high times.
Problem with survival mode is it's cool while it's new, but pretty soon every map is going to have it's "best" camp spot discovered and everyone will mimic that spot. After that it just comes down to good old fashioned camping. I'll just enjoy the new versus campaigns.
Not really. Anyone can camp, but it's how quickly and effectively the team can deal with the Tanks that really makes the difference in how long you last on each round, since they almost always splits the team up sending them in different directions. If someone dies early on because the Tank knocks them off the roof or into the water or whatever, or they get separated from the team and get surrounded by the Horde then you have no chance of getting a decent time.

Dead Air Runway is horribly broken. You could do any time you wanted on it. One person on the suitcases at the rear RHS of plane, other three behind them. Tanks die on spawning and the smokers and hunters get trapped the other side of the plane. Quite a few of the maps are like that. You can glitch tanks on crane, and warehouse that I can think of offhand. It's possible to do very long times on gas station by standing next to the ammo all four of you backs to the wall. Can't remember what my times are. I have 18 mins on Hospital Lift IIRC.
I joined a map over the weekend (already in progress) but they were up to 1 1/2 hours. I'm pretty sure they were glitching, and I think it was on Blood Harvest (I'll have to check the map again).
every map has glitches =\ done runs on every map that could go on forever, just cba coz i aint wasting hours to get a high 'braging' time lol
Now got myself a Gold, managed 10:50 (give or take a few seconds) but was damn hard, was playing with 3 other great players and it makes a difference, speaking to each other and talking tactics, ive been on a few servers where they just run and shoot, not really any good.
