    I found a trick to unlock it!

    Right-click "Left 4 Dead Demo" and go "Delete local content". Steam goes "WTF? Are you mad? Talk about impatient..." and instantly unlocks it for you.

    ...teehee.

    EDIT: 6am?!? FTLOG.

    Yeah, delays for a Valve game, big shocker that :rolleyes:

    I noticed they've released a Steam client update as well, probably to fix it.

    Was the demo delayed on the Xbox as well?

    I dunno what came in the update but the most obvious was Windows 7 integration, you can now hover it when pinned in the Start Menu and launch Recently played games, set your status, direct links to: Store, Games, Community, Friends, and News.

    EDIT: Can also access by right clicking on when active on taskbar.

    this is just ridiculous. they've delayed it by another 14 hours. to 8pm tonight. 24 hours after it was originally meant to be released.

    4pm?!??!!??? but it was like supposed to be now at 2am, you can't delay something twice I such a short timespan. WTF the Xbox kiddies have had it for about a day now! WTH?
