i just wanted to throw an idea out here for brainstorming, i would just like to know how i can get lambo doors on my computer case lol sounds stupid but would be a cool addition to a car themed mod. A second idea is Delorian style doors on my computer case (you know.. the ones on the car from Back to the Future? lol). Preferably something that wont break the bank EDIT :idea scratched thanks for the time, and please excuse my noobiness (and my spelling)
Stop doing the things that make your ole lady mad enough to take the pc in the first place, put the effort you intend to spend on building a machine to circumvent the punishment into study, and that will result in you getting a job that pays more than a street performer. Then you can move out and when you mum is old enough get her put in a bad old peoples home as punishment while you sail away on your yacht all the while muttering ‘take away my pc will ya’ PS draw up some plans
haha unfotuantely my mom likes to get mad for the littlest reasons and take away my pc, and i am already a good student, pulling off a 4.0 with all my honors and AP classes ill try to get a good picture of my plans i drew up once i can figure out how to work photobucket lol for the life in me i cant fugure out how to get the lambo doors to work but i got a few ideas about the delorean as i said ill try to post plans later
suicide doors, or gull wing doors woudln't be too hard to do. For gullwing doors (delorian style) you could use the simple gas cartridges that the use for trunk or hatchbacks albiet smaller ones, Suicide doors (lambo style) are actuallya complex joint, as the ones for cars pop out a few inches then travel up slightly off of true so as not to hit the inside part of the door on the frame. I'm not sure what sort of joint you would use for that.
they've alread been done before on a case on this fourm and they looked good. i think it was a cooler masters centino or somthing similar. the hard bit would be the latch to make the pannel go out and up. and you'd need somthing simialr to a boot opener thingy.....errr....thoses little phnematic arms that hold the car boot open. as for the magic box of noise......add a big key to it and say its a really big wind up toy.
