I really don't want to have to "edit" my wallpapers to fit my dual monitor system. One is a 15" and the other a 19", so the resolution alone is different.

Is there anyway, either by a "hack" in XP, or some program that can let me select wallpapers for each monitor? Kind of like Mac OS?

    Thanks

Not sure about any hacks that'd allow you to do this, but I can tell you Ultramon does, and its an incredibly usefull program for dual monitors. Theres a free trial on the site IIRC, so give it a go, you probably won't go back to living without it :)

PERFECT! Well, almost perfect. I love the extra features, like extended taskbar.

    Thanks

No problem, its fairly simple, if you run dual monitors you should run ultramon, the extra functionality is crazy, and makes you realise how incredibly poor windows support for multimons is.

If you have an NVidia graphics card, I found NView to be a lot better than Ultramon in terms of functionality. I miss NView :waah:

Wow, you're the only person I've found who's ever said that. I've spoken to many other people on ultramon, and all of them have preferred it to anything from ATi or Nvidia.

    Ultramon isnt hardware specific,
    nView is nVidia only.

Ultramon has a nicer UI than nView,
    nView has more features.

Anyone with an ATi / other card will love Ultramon.

The main thing that I miss from nView is window snapping. Is there a way to do this in Ultramon so that you never ever get any windows showing partially between the two screens? (when not maximised)
