laptop cd-rw and hard drives

    first off i was wondering if you can buy laptop cd-rws and if so where, i was also wondering where you can buy laptop hard drives. and where do you get adapters for them, thanks

    havent seen laptop cdrws sold sepereatly, and if they were i would think they would be dreadfully expensive...

    laptop hdds can be bought pretty much anywhere, just look for 2.5" hdds not 3.5", and quite a few places also sell the adaptore...ie dabs, komplett and whatnot...these are uk places, wouldnt know for us...:idea:

    I picked up the Toshiba SD-R2002 its a cdrw/dvd combo laptop drive pic (i forgot how much it was, but it was pricey) and you can find adapters here and here good luck..

    when you are looking... I have found that it helps if you use "slimdrive" when you are searching... just a tip. Of course, that is for CD/DVD drives, doesn't really apply for hard drives.
