    I think the second one's the best option, you're best spending the extra now because you can't really upgrade a laptop.

    Both are good though, but you might regret buying a less powerful one.

    you think the pentium-m 1.86Ghz /w pci-e x700 is more poweful than the the amd64 3700 /w 9700?

    No, I mean it as in don't buy shoddy laptops, they won't last. As far as I can see those two laptops are both good and it's a tough decision because of that. For me, size and weight are the biggest factors.

    I just prefer to have a centrino laptop, they run a lot cooler and are surprisingly fast.

    I think I'm gonna go for the acer. It's cheaper, 20gigs more HDD space, better screen, 64-bit processor and free delivery, seems like a good deal.
