    Just wondering if there's a list of laptop graphics and the comparable performance in relation to desktop GPUs.

    Eg: go7900GTX on a notebook is around a 7900GTX on a desktop.
    go7400 = etc.

    Also, any benchies of laptop graphics to newer games?

    Thanks

    Nowadays, laptop graphics are generally comparable in performance to their desktop counterparts, usually slightly slower due to reduced clockspeeds and cut down memory buses. I dont know of any lists that compare desktop and laptop directly though.

    Bit-tech often review high end laptops, and Notebook Review look at just about everything, with most reviews testing the laptops in at least a few modern games.

    The Go7900GTX runs at 550MHz core 600MHz Memory (if I recall correctly, might be 650MHz... 1200/1300DDR). The performance is very close between notebooks and desktops most of the time but manufacturers can implement various clock speeds and many Mobility X1600s are severely underclocked.
